What's that thing you're holding, Fred?

Buggie was a little, fuzzy kitten around 1983.  She was very shy, but curious.   In 1986 she started to visit me, the neighbour with the 2nd story balcony.  I was coding some games for an Atari ST computer, and Buggie liked the mouse, and she liked to sit on the monitor for the tush warming effect.  Cat hairs on the screen are not that great, though...

Buggie's ambition was to become a grizzly bear, so she could catch her own salmon.   She loved canned salmon from Alaska, and King Oscar sardines in, tomato sauce, from Norway.  After eating she would often contemplate deeply how to attain her ambitious goal...

Buggie was my office manager.  She would watch the phone carefully when I was not there, and make sure the answering machine worked correctly.  She was very reliable, and always there...  You could get stock advice from Buggie too, but she was not that good at that, and she mostly recommended Caterpillar (CAT) and Mouse Systems, with an occasional recommended position in Norwegian sardine stocks.  She always was a bottom fisher...

Now Buggie is enjoying the eternal salmon farm in the sky...  RIP
