Factual Description:

It is an oil on canvas painting measuring 46cm by 54cm (inner frame), signed by D. Rivera.

It is a portrait of a man with a reddish beard and recessed hair line.

The man in the painting wears a heavy grey uniform, with the number "122" showing in three places.  The uniform has big buttons on the collar, and a red dot associated with each of the "122"s.

The man in the portrait wears a dark hat, with no shade or brim.

The background is mostly dark.

The painting, which has no visible date or title, was acquired before 1935, and is in its original frame.
